The Kodak Retina Ia was the first of the series which became really popular in the 1950s. This model is generally regarded as a rangefinder camera, but is actually more of a scale focus type camera, due to it's lack of a coupled rangefinder patch.

Cosmetic condition: Very Good - In surprisingly good condition for a camera from the 1950s. It has typical light marks with minor brassing along the edges.
Film transport gears: Excellent - Advance lever moves forward precisely and transports film smoothly.
Shutter speeds: Excellent - Tested as accurate at all speeds from 1 sec to 1/500 sec.
Light Meter: No built-in meter. An external exposure meter is recommended.
Hotshoe: Cold Shoe only. There is sync port which was tested and fires precisely with an external flash connected with a cable.
Schneider Retina-Xenon 50mm f/2 Lens: Excellent - Produces extremely sharp, high detail images. Optics are in pristine condition with no marks, scratches, haze or fungus.
