The Canon Speedlite 199A is a highly effective, electronic auto flash designed for AE flash photography with Canon A-1, AE-1 and AV-1 35mm film cameras, but will fire with on a standard hotshoe. This model is in Excellent cosmetic condition with very minimal exterior wear.
When charged and used on optimal designated camera models such as A-1 and AE-1, this unit offers "Off-the-Film" TTL flash metering, which automatically sets shutter speed and f-stop. For AV-1, the shutter speed will set automatically, while aperture will be set manually using aperture ring.
Unit has been tested and is in Excellent working condition.
Requires 4 x AA batteries (included).
