Cosmetic condition: In Very Good condition, showing typical marks and scratches in various places on the exterior metal finish that are consistent with age. The black leatherette material is in fully intact with some very minor discoloration.

Film transport gears: Excellent - Advance lever moves forward precisely and advances film smoothly.

Shutter speeds: Excellent - Tested as accurate at all speeds. Speed options are 1/4 sec to 1/500 sec and a Bulb mode.

Light Meter: Tested against professional a professional light meter and is off slightly. This is fairly common with Canonets due to the reduced voltage of the modern battery. As a result, it is recommend to shoot these cameras using the manual settings instead of the Auto. The battery check light does light up to let you know that the battery is correctly providing power.

Hotshoe: Excellent - Tested with a flash and firing properly. PC port also tested and firing for off-shoe flash photography.
- Seals and foam: Door foam seals all replaced with fresh new material.

Canon 40mm f/1.7 Built-in Lens: Very Good - The glass optics are clean aside from a few minor exterior marks which have no affect on image results. No haze, fungus or separation on the lens optics.
