Cosmetic condition: This copy is in the less common black finish. It is in Excellent Condition with only light wear.

Film transport gears: Excellent - Advance lever moves forward precisely and advances film smoothly.

Shutter speeds: Excellent - Tested as accurate at all speeds. Speed options are 1/4 sec to 1/500 sec and a Bulb mode.

Light Meter: Tested against professional a professional light meter and is noticeably off by multiple stops. This is fairly common with Canonets due to the reduced voltage of the modern battery. As a result, it is recommend to shoot these cameras using the manual settings instead of the Auto. The battery check light does light up to let you know that the battery is correctly providing power.

Hotshoe: Excellent - Tested with a flash and firing properly. PC port also tested and firing for off-shoe flash photography.
- Seals and foam: Door foam seals all replaced with fresh new material.

Canon 40mm f/1.7 Built-in Lens: Good - Exterior marks and a dent on the metal exterior ring but no scratches, haze or fungus on the lens optics.
